After the success of our first two batches of 10xAcademy, we’re back with 8 more startups as a part of our third batch.
10xAcademy was started with the sole purpose of enabling startup founders to create their own unique scaling recipe. The four-month invite-only program takes our batchmates across the 10 fundamental pillars of scaling, led by experts and facilitated by peers for a rich learning experience.

Southeast Asia’s largest integrated car e-commerce platform
Eric Cheng was an accounting student at Sunway University College but decided to terminate his studies during his second year to start an advertising network and creative agency, which he eventually sold off. After a few years, he leveraged his experience in digital advertising to understand market demands and founded Carsome to address the pain points within the used car industry.
Personal investment and wealth management app
Subramanya S V graduated from Mysore University and holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. He was managing director of Bessemer Venture Partners, a global venture capital firm. At Bessemer, he realized that India was at the cusp of a long-term trend of business models being disrupted due to internet adoption. He decided to quit his VC role and decided to give a shot at building a company that leverages this long-term trend and thus was born Fisdom.
Anand Dalmia graduated from St. Xavier’s College and later did his MBA from IIM Lucknow. He spent a decade in investment banking in UBS, Macquarie, and Avendus. He hails from a business family where he was expected to run a business — big or small. The itch to do something on his own found a match in Subramanya’s plans.
Cloud-based platform for corporates and nonprofits to manage CSR
Abhishek Humbad graduated from BITS Pilani and later did his MBA from IIM Bangalore. Soon after graduating, he co-founded NextGen, a renewable energy startup. While working on NextGen, he realized how a lack of transparency in the CSR space led to different issues. Taking this as an opportunity, he decided to build a one-of-a-kind CSR lifecycle management platform – Goodera.
World’s first open-market, freight management platform
Abhijeet Manohar did his bachelor’s from RV College of Engineering and master’s from Arizona State University. Abhijeet is the tech product mind behind Pando. He has over 50+ patents issued against his name!
Nitin Jayakrishnan is a graduate of the University of Warwick and Singapore Management University. Nitin loves building multicultural teams that explore first-principle ideas, to build products/businesses that improve the quality of life for the new-to-internet, especially in Asia. He has varied interests, spanning History, Asian equities, theater, Carnatic music, physics, politics, and food!
Online self-publishing and audiobooks portal in Indian vernacular languages
Ranjeet Pratap Singh graduated from KIIT, Bhubneswar, and later did his MBA from FMS – Delhi. He describes himself as an avid reader who could not find many books in his mother tongue and therefore founded Pratilipi to solve his own itch.
Shally Modi holds an MBA and an MSc (BioTech) from SP University, Vadodara. At Pratilipi, she has done stints across Design, Marketing, Partnerships, New Initiatives, and currently heads Product.
Full-stack B2B Commerce platform for small businesses in Bangladesh
Afeef Zaman graduated from the University of Dhaka and founded his first company, a film animation & VR studio, at the age of 20 and led a team of 150 people there for four years before starting ShopUp. His grandfather comes from a community of potters in Bangladesh and when a manufacturing company introduced plastic products in the country, it ate the entire market share of clay products. To help this community of potters, Afeef started ShopUp with a business management tool offering.
An online platform providing courses for engineering students
Sarangarajan V Iyengar completed his bachelor’s from Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering & Technology (ACCET) and master’s from University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA
SuryaNarayanan PaneerSelvam completed his bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from St.Joseph College of Engineering and master’s from UoW-Madison, USA.
They met during their Masters at the University of Wisconsin. During that time they realized that teaching abroad had a practical approach with a focus on what the industry required from engineers. In 2014, the duo decided to return to India and start their venture to solve this problem for India.

Shared co-working space for enterprises
Harsh Binani has over seven years of experience in management consulting and real estate. He worked with the consulting firm, McKinsey in Chicago, handling strategy and operations. Harsh did his Bachelors in Economics from SRCC and later did his MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
Neetish Sarda is a graduate of the Singapore Institute of Management and Purdue University. His journey began in his family business, with an employee base of 50,000, and delved into manufacturing, real estate, and IT. He also worked for a few real estate developers before embarking on his own entrepreneurial journey and was named as a Promising Entrepreneur of India, 2019 by The Economic Times.
